About NEXXT Volleyball Club
NEXXT Volleyball Club is the sister club of Payes Performance Volleyball Club. Much like Payes,
NEXXT offers first-class volleyball teams at the Payes facility. NEXXT teams compete in the
NCVA’s AREA LEAGUE system. Area league tournaments are typically nearby and will not require
much traveling.
From January through June, NEXXT area teams consistently practice twice a week at the same
times on the same days, and at the same facility. (Payes Gym, San Carlos, CA) Practices
with NEXXT coaches offer fair and equal treatment of players based on their skill and position.
NEXXT mainly focuses on the development of the player in a competitive environment. Playing
time on our AREA teams is distributed based on attendance, effort, attitude, and improvement
rather than performance based skills like power teams. Every players gets playing time at
the tournaments as long as they show the above attributes.
NEXXT hopes to provide opportunities for local players who are interested in playing volleyball,
whether they want to be introduced to the sport and eventually move on to play more competitively,
or if they simply want a fun place to learn and play on a recreational level.
